Precious Katenga – Chibwe is an Advocate of the High Court for Zambia practicing under the name and style of National Legal Aid Clinic for Women. She is passionate about under privileged and vulnerable women and children in society. She provides legal representation, legal education and mediation in all matters that affect women and children.
As a seasoned lawyer with over five years of experience, I am dedicated to using my skills to make a positive impact on the lives of women and children. With a strong background in private sector corporate governance and a passion for promoting women’s and children’s rights, I strive to provide high-quality legal representation and advice.

Ms. Charity Shimaluba was called to the Zambian bar in March 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in law (LL.B) from the University of Zambia. Ms. Shimaluba joined the National Legal Aid Clinic for Women as an intern in May, 2022 where she gained vast experience in litigation through her internship. Ms. Shimaluba is specialized in litigation with a focus in family law, human rights law, land rights and criminal law. She contributes an integral measure in criminal litigation involving children in conflict with the law. She brings to the team a strong work ethic. Legal research skills and commitment to professional growth to every case.
BWILA MUSUKWA-MULENGA (LLB, AHCZ) is a Senior Legal Officer with the National Legal Aid Clinic for Woman and is currently stationed at the Livingstone office. Bwila has over nine years’ experience as a legal practitioner and possess vast experience in family law, human rights, contractual disputes, alternative dispute resolution, civil and criminal litigation and labour disputes and has in the past years been representing underprivileged women and children in the courts of law in their pursuit for justice.
Bwila is passionate about advocating for Women and children’s rights as a broader component of human rights and takes part in various organisation and national activities that focus on women and children’s access to justice as well as law and policy review. Bwila believes in educating women, children and various players at community level as one of the effective ways of ensuring that there is an understanding and respect for human rights, women and children’s rights by all.
Prudence T. Phiri is a Legal Aid lawyer with over 8 years of experience working for organisations that promote Women and Children’s Rights in Zambia. She is passionate about helping vulnerable women and children claim for the enjoyment of their rights through the legal system and other relevant authorities.
Chipepo Bwalya
is a Legal Aid Lawyer with extensive experience in litigation and mediation, she ensures women and children from marginalized societies have equal access to justice.
As a Legal Aid Lawyer, she is responsible for ensuring extensive legal research is conducted in assisting our clients make their case, she ensures mediation is explored and only resort to litigation if it fails. She has three years experience in advocating for clients

Ms. Mazuba Mwanaziani is a compassionate Legal Aid Lawyer with three years of experience practicing family law. She is dedicated to advocating for the rights of women and children and is committed to ensuring that every client receives clear guidance and strong representation. In addition to her trial advocacy skills, Mazuba is skilled in negotiation and mediation, helping clients resolve conflicts effectively and achieve fair outcomes.
